On Wednesday we had the pleasure of being invited down to the Larry King Live studios at CNN.
I've been a huge fan of Larry King for many years, an avid watcher of his show, and a fan
of his interview style, and in general 'what he does' and 'how he does it'. I've always been intrigued with his show, as he gets to sit down with people from all walks of life, that are relevant in politics, business and pop culture, and asks them questions from how they started, to what motivates them, to information about their current projects/scandals/whatever, and so forth. I definitely classify Larry as one of my heroes. I'm very sad that next week is the last week of the Larry King Live show, there are some big shoes to fill at CNN.
People always ask me who inspires me, and who I admire, and who I'm star struck by. The people who are my heroes and real celebrities to me are business leaders, innovators, thinkers, and media icons. It was such an honor for me to finally get to meet Larry King, and knowing that he wears Five Four is the most amazing feeling.
We were given insane access to come check out the offices, and set of the show. Check it out below.
As soon as I walk in to Larry's offices, I'm greeted by Mr. King himself on the couch. He preps here in one of his producer's offices, watches the news and sees what's going on in the world.

Larry's closet of his famous ties and braces (Larry was telling me how suspenders are called braces). So I asked Larry when he started wearing suspenders. At first, he corrected me about calling them braces vs. suspenders. Second, he told me that many years back he was walking with his ex-wife in Beverly Hills, and they walked by a store that had braces. She suggested to him that he wear them, as he had never wore that type of item before, and has been wearing them ever since! The only times he hasn't wore them when wearing a shirt and tie, is Ronald Reagan's funeral, and Yitzhak Rabin's funeral.

This is where Larry records his famous intro, "And tonight on the Larry King show we have…"
